Warm Up Grades

Week 2 is under our belts and we have done a lot!  During Week 2 we set up our science notebook, took notes on lab safety, completed our first assignment (lab safety scenarios), set up our student data notebooks (more info to come), and turned in our first set of warm ups.

Science Warm Ups are what we do in science when we come in (after turning in homework and before writing in our planner).  Each day is work 10 points.  5 of those points are for just completing the assignment and the other 5 points come from if the work is correct or not.  So just by completing all 4 days, students get half the credit.  Some warm ups will not be graded for accuracy because they are used for pre-assessing students' knowledge.  If that is the case, Mrs. M will award that day's warm up 10 points for completion.  If you have any questions about warm ups and how they are graded and used please feel free to contact Mrs. M.
