Once a year Nelson and his exotic animals are invited to visit the school. Each class gets to spend an hour with him. In that hour they get to interact with a lynx a snake, a giant lizard, a toucan, a huge turtle, 2 armadillos, and a artic fox. Each animal is introduced, told where its natural habitat is, and some other interesting facts. Nelson is so engaging and the kids look forward to his visit. They love swapping stories about the animals.
